I worked with Hailsham Town Councillor Steve Keogh and the local Residents Association (RA) to get Cognitive Behavioural Insights Road Safety signs in place on Welbury Meadows & The Grange Estate in the spring of 2021. I am pleased to report that after discussions with the RA, East Sussex County Council Road Safety, and the Town Councillor for Hailsham North West, Steve Keogh, that these are now back in place. I'm also very pleased to see that red "Slow down, Blind spot" signs have been posted along the bend in Brunel Drive which is already reported to have had a significant positive impact reducing anti-social parking and improving visibility for drivers and pedestrians on this sharp bend. The "Children, Slowdown" sign outside the James West centre is also a welcome addition. I continue to work with the RA exploring longer run solutions to the Brunel Drive parking challenge.
