Highways

The most effective way to get assistance with Highways issues is to go direct to the East Sussex County Council Highways portal and fill out the form to report a problem. If you are unhappy with the way in which Highways handle your problem or concern, then please do contact me directly with your Highways Case number. Trunk Roads:

Please note that Highways England (as opposed to East Sussex County Council) are responsible for the maintenance of the key trunk roads in the county. These include: the A27; the A26 South of Lewes; the A259 east of Polegate; and the A21 north of Hastings.
