It was an honour to lay the County Council wreath on behalf of the Chairman of the Council at Hailsham Remembrance Day service, along with veterans, the mayor, fellow councillors, local groups & societies. We were especially honoured by the presence of Deputy Lord Lieutenant Amanda Hamblin. As ever there was a great turnout from residents. Last year's service and wreath laying was a bit limited by Covid restrictions; it was great to see a substantial return to normality. This was the fourth time that I have had the honour of laying the wreath on behalf of the Chair of the County Council at the Hailsham Remembrance Service.
