An extra £8.85 million to improve Highways & limit Climate Change

During the May Elections, I committed to delivering more spending on Highways. I'm very pleased to report that East Sussex County Council will invest an additional £8.85 million to improve highways for pedestrians, cyclists and drivers and to reduce climate change. The extra spending has been agreed by councillors and detailed plans will be discussed later this year. I am optimistic that there will be more to come over the next few years. I will continue to press for this local priority.
